My initial sighting of a Surf-Rodz product was actually one of his teak Olo Gun boards in an issue of Concrete Wave Magazine. Beautiful lines harkening back to a more simple time in surfing pre-wave forecasts and crazy surf industry marketing. I dismissed it as just another pretty board but kept the memory filed away in my cerebral cortex.
Originally the concept was on the design of products and the designers behind them. Isn’t the human body and mind the ultimate in design? With this simple thought in mind I will also be featuring people who deal with the body, mind and movement. Without these elements we wouldn’t have all these great developments in products that we enjoy. Please be open minded and see how this ties into that fancy new surfboard/skateboard/bike/car you admire.
